Hello, I’m Bethany Williams! I live out in the mid-western state of North Dakota.
I am currently at Western Technical College in Lacrosse, WI to complete my degree in Digital Marketing. Before our family’s extensive travels, we used to live on a farm and the trope of “small town girl who wants to see the world” does, in fact, apply to me. I have seen or lived in most of the United States, giving me quite the spirit of wanderlust to travel and explore the rest of the world! I appreciated growing up and living on a farm. That has instilled in me a great appreciation for animals and a strong work ethic – much like bees! They are hardworking and diligent. For quite some time I have been inserted in keeping bees, and hope to have hives full of fuzzy, buzzy friends!
My experience in Digital Marketing and E-commerce is increasing steadily. Before college, I set up and ran my own art commissions page; I’m proud to say that did quite well, and I am currently helping a local artist with their online presence. I am a fast learner, seeking out and creating opportunities to strengthen my skills, for future endeavors.
At present I have decided it is best to not be employed so I can focus more closely on my education. Although, within the last year, I held a sales floor job at a clothing shop where my manager spoke very highly of me and my abilities to work with people, saying I am “a light to have around.” I am quite skilled in customer service, de-escalating situations, and helping people find out what they want.
Of my many hobbies, crochet and digital art are my favorites. Also, I have recently enjoyed being able to do more sewing and embroidery. Performing these hobbies not only improves my skill in technique, but these arts encourage my growth in many ways including: increased focus, problem solving, and the invaluable trait of patience. The hives, as I mentioned before, are next on my to-do list! I have been researching and gathering resources for this endeavor, and I hope to set up the hives within the next year or two. I am also interested in fashion and enjoy coordinating outfits for a cute, personal style. I am passionate about dressing my best, and it is my dream to market for a fashion brand.
